Noise reduction for honda accord 98 coupe?

My Honda accord 98 coupe sounds louder when I drive. Is there something under the hood/ on the engine that reduces the noise of the engine when running??
check the exhaust breather under the car they can breach a hole that could be undetected and cause that loud humming sound,,,also check the whole thing from cat. back,,,
