How do I know that noise reduction is working on my TV & what things should I look and listen for?

I have an Insignia Advanced Serious TV,model number is NS-L32X-10A and it is a 32 inch wide screen TV. I have the noise reduction set to medium

See if you can hear the squirrel in the back!! If you can’t then it’s working.
