what is a good color for painting a recording studio?

Author: admin Category: Home Studio Soundproofing

i want to re-do my in home "recording studio" and i’m not sure what color i should paint it, im going to be putting up soundproofing foam, but i wanna paint the walls before, what color do you think would look best?

If you are aiming for a contemporary feel, then use bold colors such as reds or oranges teamed with a heavily contrasting color like black or silver to give an edgy modern look. For a blues or mellower theme, choose lighter more soothing earth tones, like muted greens or blues. :)

If the foam is going to be black I recommend a very bright color, almost neon. After you pick a few colors ask the paint store if your choice will cover in two coats. If your willing to spend the extra money for paint, Benjamin Moore makes a paint called Aura which covers in two coats for any color.
