I feel really stressed out about my life how do I deal with this?

ok so my house is a band soundproofed practice room mixed with a recording studio. lately I havent been feeling the music like I used to. but anyways. every night Ive been getting home from work at 10 my roommates are like let jam man. or we are gonna have a meeting and I feel like my homelife is just another job now and if I tell the guys about it they are gonna tell me that Im a pussy and that I need to grow a sack. but i like playing music and recording but I need some breathing room and not this dude breathing down my neck. I'm gonna just try to get out I guess. but everybody needs peace at home and lately it's been this band practice everynight thing. and they treat me like if I dont participate that i dont care.

Stress is a normal psychological and physical reaction to the demands of life. But when you're unable to cope well with the stress in your life, your mind and body may pay the price. Stressful events are a fact of life. And you seem that may not be able to change your current situation(Your house is a band soundproofed practice room!) .

But you can take steps to manage the impact these events( this band practice) have on you. You can learn to identify what stresses you out, how to take control of some stress-inducing circumstances, and how to take care of yourself physically and emotionally in the face of stressful situations.

The payoff of managing stress is peace of mind and,perhaps ,a longer, healthier life.Take some time out from this "band practice everynight thing" for a while.You Need A Break !

    Your home should be a home, not your job. We all need a place to come home and relax and unwind from the day.
    If we keep going, going, going all day, eventually we are going to
    exhaust ourselves.

    Setting boundaries with our roommates is really important, if we don't it will eventually deplete us before we even realize it and we do end up reacting in all kinds of different ways.

    You can either sit down with your band guys/house mates and set up some rules now, or even think about getting a different place and meeting up with them there to practice.

    What is most important is that you take care of you!
    You have to remember that you teach people how to treat you.
    Don't let them walk all over you, or else they will.
