How do you achieve pro studio sound, in a home studio???
Author: admin Category: Home Studio SoundproofingI've got the equiment, the soundproof room, the nice mic, cpu everything i need. I just want to know how to make the vocals sound like the real deal…Like at a real studio….I use Audacity. And i record rap songs…What are the secrets, like echos or something like that. Thats
It depends on what sound your aiming at, I dont believe in specific right or wrong methods of recording, just personal preferences. If your in a soundproofed room, experiment with the reverb of the room by adding tiles to make it sound more lively or if your trying to achieve the reverse drag a few sofas or armchairs etc into the room and put eggboxes on the walls.
Vocals can also be put through guitar effects and stomp boxes with some interesting results, but will not be a balanced signal (ie normal guitar jack instead of 3-pins).
Just experiment until you get sounds that you like.
