Why is a mac computer so much better for home music studios?

I’m trying to really get into the making music at home thing. Everyone’s telling me you should start out with a mac computer. Why is mac such a good place start computer wise for music making, how is it different from any other computer?

more reliable(less spyware/viruses)
faster.
Apple programs(editing software) s really nice.

cuz PC computers are better at everything else, so Mac had to get something to keep people wanting them. they havegreat editing software and its real easy to use and stuff.
