Well yes, it’s a form of a vocoder that as said, amplifies his voice. He sings in tune though, else it would sound like T-pain.

its a vocorder, look it up i have one, you speak into it and play and it almost auto tunes it to that pitch. no doubt he can sing but the vocorder gives his voice a unique sound

Actually he’s just using the keyboard to amplify his voice, he still has to sing, which he does. He can sing aswell, just take a look at Undercover Scientist.

A lot of the tone …
A lot of the tone is produced by his actual singing voice as well. You couldn’t mindlessly talk and get the sounds he was making.

It’s actually a …
It’s actually a vocoder. Similar effect to a talkbox but you speak into a mic and it processes your voice through the keyboard, making it sound all robot-like.

yeah he uses a talk …
yeah he uses a talk box built in to that keyboard. All he has to do is talk, and it will sound like he is singing but he is playing the notes on the keyboard and it is changing his voice.
