    I don’t remember …
I don’t remember which one, but I have 3 drum types in mine. I have tried to get the expansions working, but have not installed them yet to do this on them… I think those expansions are very resource intensive and so using Sonar or one of those programs may work better.

    what did you use …
what did you use for the drums in this clip? I also am currently using EZDrummer but, like you, my version is obviously buggy because it doesn’t allow me to use any of the expansion packs (they all freeze up the program when I try to load one). This means I’m stuck with the basic rock kit which gets a bit tiresome.

    thanks! What …
thanks! What hardware/soundcard do you use?

    Very Good…. …
    Very Good…. Congratulations.
I am user of Acid Pro, and record my own music just like you. I just want plug an play. It´s all. I dont want nothing complicated (cubase, sonar, logic)… My best Reggard from Guadalajara, México.

    I think the easiest …
I think the easiest way to get music into cubase is to covert the CD music to either MP3 or WAV format. Next import the wav or mp3 into a track in cubase. I don’t use cubase very much - only when I need more power and production options when I record drummers and the entire band. When I am by myself (which is 95% of the time right now) I use ACID because it is so much more simple and fast.

    thanks mate for …
thanks mate for taking the time to answer..i have actually got the guitar side up and running now … like you said running the vox straight to the emu sounds like the better option for sound quality … the next problem i have is how do i record a backing track from my cd to the cubase software that was with the E-MU 0202.. if you have time to answweer that i would be very gratefull ty john germany

    The best option …
The best option based on what you have is go straight from the tone lab into the Emu 0202 then route to cubase with the Emu software.
I personally would not use the marshall for recording at all unless you use a microphone straight into the emu.

The other options is to plug straight into the emu (no amp or vox). However you would then have to get software to do what the tone lab does. I use Guitar Rig from Native Instruments and route the signal from Emu to GTR to Cubase.

    well i have with …
well i have with the E-MU 0202 cubase . i want to record the guitar through the marschall and tone lab by vox ( if i cant do it through the tone lab its not gonna sound verý good at all,, what do you mean route the guitar to tzhe marschall…. i have nt got a clue really … any ideas ?? thanks john

  12. jeffhamula

    Are you wanting to …
Are you wanting to record the Marshall into the computer or route the guitar into the Marshall?

If you already have the emu, download Native Instruments Guitar Rig Demo and try it out. I think you will be amazed at how good it sounds especially for recording. Check out Guitar Rig on Youtube and you will see.

    your good mate..how …
your good mate..how does one set up a emu 0202 to a vox tone lab and a marshall amp to the computer do you know

  15. thepriceofreality

this is exactly how i do my recordings :) although i don’t have a bass, so i use my electric guitar and a pitchshifter plug in :)
I highly recommend getting “ezdrummer” :)

    Thanks… Yes I did …
Thanks… Yes I did this in Acid - mainly for the drum loop track. You can see me do the same thing in another song but looking at the screen and talking. I am going to post more related to the hardware and software. Just figuring out the video stuff.
