I was a roadie for SB and actually was SpaceyT’s roomate for two years. Great bad, even better people. Professional; they worked really hard to perfect their sound, and it came through in their performances. Bernie K, Spacey T, Stanley E, and Skavido got me into R&R. I wonder who owns the masters to all their albums??? They really need to be reissued on CD AT ALL COSTS!!! Wow, another hard-rockin’ band of brothers that got the cold treatment from the music industry just like Mother’s Finest did several years prior…

ps, I dig Spacey T.’s work a lot. Was kinda hoping Fishbone would’ve picked him up for good after Special K. departed from the group back in the early ’90s.

AGREED…!!! Unfortunately, the American music market was VERY CLOSE-MINDED back then, imo. They thought, black musicians playing hard rock, was nothing more than a “Gimmick”. However, nothing could have been further from the truth…! They were a VERY GOOD band, who unfortunately was ignored, by the American Music industry. ‘ SHAME…!!!

I have this Lp. The full title is “Don’t Put me on Hold.” GREAT guitar work by SPACEY T. !
The bassist, STANLEY E., was VERY GOOD too…!
There’s also a song titled “MAYDAY”, on this Lp. It’s a KICK-ASS instrumental, which has some really good bass and guitar work as well…!!!
