This is completely wrong. When the stone hits the wall you dont hear it instantly in any case. You will hear it with a delay which does not depend at all on the speed at which the stone was traveling, but only on the speed of sound and on the distance between you and the wall. The stone hits the wall before the sound is made?? you really need to go and study some physics

When you throw a …
When you throw a stone at mach 1 (speed of sound)… you hear it instantly when it hits the brick wall, but if you throw a rock at a faster speed, say mach 1.1, the stone breaks through sound, and hits the wall before the sound of the impact is made, then moments later, you’ll hear the sound of the impact. Simple physics!
